Q) G-Lew Just wanted to wish you good luck on another great Eagles season. I'm a big fan of yours and love to see you out on the field. But I have a hard time understanding how come your not out there more often, because it seems like when you get the ball it always for a first down when we really need it. I'm not the coach but your a great part of this team, I guess what I'm saying is thanks for being such a great team player. Go birds Scott Templeton, Jarrell,TX

 --scott templeton, jarrell, TX

A) Thanks for the support I really appreciate it. Of course I would like to be on the field more often, but it is not my decision who plays and who doesn't. The only thing I control is when I do get an opportunity is to make the most of it, and that is what I will continue to do. GO EAGLES

Q) G-Lew - just found your website today. I wanted to wish you a great year and ask you to bring home the Lombardi Trophy to Philly this year. You've been a great player and the picture of consistency during some hard-fought seasons. Thanks for everything and keep up the good work. I was wondering, have you gotten to see "Invincible", about another unforgettable #83?

 --George Hassel, Columbus, OH

A) Thanks for the words of encouragement and support. I will continue to strive for consistency, I pride myself on it. I have not yet seen Invincible, but I do have it on dvd just haven't gotten around to it yet. GO BIRDS!!! GLEW

Q) I am a huge Eagles fan!!! How does it look to you for chances to make it back to the bowl game? I think our recieving core looks good and you guys will make heads turn this season they always sleep on ya'll good luck.

 --Shukri Martin, Camden, NJ

A) The eagles appreciate your support, and I definitely appreciate the accolades you have given our recieving core. We don't plan on just getting back to the Superbowl, but we are going to win it this year. If everything goes according to plan you will see the birds hoisting the Lombardi trophy come Februuary 08. GLEW

Q) GLEW - This isn't my real question, but let me open by asking..why are you consistently the most unappreciated player on the team? I don't get it. I am such a fan, and believe me when I tell you that not all Philly fans are clueless to how much value you bring to the team. My question...do you still keep in touch with Todd Pinkston? He was another guy who I felt was not appreciated by Philly fans. I guess what I'm trying to ask is...Do you find it frustrating when you have a rough fan base, like Philly, where the fans are know-it-alls and don't understand the offensive scheme being used...where they boo if you don't score a touchdown on every play, and don't appreciate your consistency, especially on converting third downs? I know, long winded...Thanks and keep up the good work!

 --Michael Beifeld, Bala Cynwyd, PA

A) Thanks for the LOVE I really appreciate it. To answer your question I do keep up with Pink I probably talk to him 3 times a month or so. He is doing well and waiting for his next opportunity to get on another team and do what I know he is capable of and that's making big plays.

As a professional athlete you need to understand you are going to be under the microscope at all times, people are going to hate you and people are going to love you--you just have to take both for what its worth. I have a job to do and I attempt to go out everyday and get the job done and for the most part I feel I have done a great job. If I can look myself in the mirror then I am ok with it. GLEW
